BSX

The BSX series Synth AXEcess Guitar is an electric guitar with the addition of MIDI synth access. This guitar is the flag ship of  Xotica. The standard BSX series has a Solid Walnut body with a xotic veneer top, a Walnut neck with a Cocobolo fret board. The BSX are finished with their CXF Tung Oil. The guitar has a what we call a six voice system , regular magnetic guitar pickups plus bridge peizo  acoustic/synth pickups  with pre amps and some switchery allows for many combination of sounds. By plugging a regular 1/4 inch guitar cable into the BSX you can play the guitar through any amp or PA. The guitar works extremely well when plugged into a computer with amp modeling software. The EQ circuits allows for 2 acoustic tone setting. The BSX can be plugged into a guitar synth module using a 13 pin cable. This provides both synth, mag and acoustic sounds to be created using the one 13-pin cable. The BSX has many controls so the player can define the volume of the synth, mag and acoustic sounds separately.

Standard BSX series guitar has a solid Walnut body.
Bolt on Walnut neck with Cocobola Fret board
25 1/2 inch scale with a Buzz Feiten tuning system
Fret wire is .095 wide .045 high and there are 22 of them.
The neck is about .870 thick from the 1 fret to the 12 fret and about 1.780 wide at the nut.
Generaly we use a 16" radius
Tuners are chrome Spertzal locking
The body is 1.750 thick and the guitars weight is at about 4 pounds this depends on wood used for the top. The bridge is a Tone Pro chrome plated fully adjustable and fitted with Graph Tech saddles.
