EA-2
The EA-2 is an electric acoustic with the addition of MIDI synth access. Designed for the electric guitar player to have an acoustic guitar with the comforts of an electric guitar body style. The standard EA series has a chambered Walnut body and Walnut neck with a Bubinga fret board. The guitars are finished with Xotica's CXF Tung Oil. The onboard piezo pickup can be used with or without a MIDI/SYNTH interface. By plugging a regular 1/4 inch guitar cable into the EA you can play the guitar through any amp or PA. The active EQ circuits allow for full bottom end which will make the guitar sound like a full size acoustic. The EQ features a Mid Sweep that brings incredible EQ power for the perfect acoustic sound on any amplification system. The EA can be plugged into a guitar synth module using a 13 pin cable. This provides both synth and acoustic sounds to be created using the one 13-pin cable. The EA has a stacked volume control so the player can define the volume of both the acoustic sound and MIDI synth access sound separately. An optional mini toggle switch provides a selection of acoustic, synth or a combination of the two. A second mini toggle switch can be added allow for program changes. The EA series works extremely well when plugged in to a computer with amp modeling software.
